Claude Desrochers

My Background

Claude holds a bachelor in engineering and a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA). He joined Nesbitt Burns in 1992 after pursuing a successful 10 year career in International Marketing and Management. Since 1994, Claude has been the recipient of either the President’s, Director’s or Chairman’s Council awards every year. Proud father of two daughters, Claude believes that portfolio management is like raising a family: "you have to look to the future, not overreact to unforeseen events, plan for and adjust to changing times, and understand the companies in which you are invested". Claude is in responsible for managing the team, establishing overall investment strategy, and making sure that clients are offered and fully understand the broad range of products and services that are offered by the firm and could fulfill their needs.
