My Background

John is responsible for meeting the investment management needs of high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients and institutional portfolios in the Greater Toronto Area. John works closely with his colleagues within Private Banking to deliver comprehensive investment strategies that incorporate planning, succession, estate, taxation, and insurance solutions. Prior to assuming his current role, John worked closely with the BPIC investment engine and was responsible for the management of over $1.5B in BPIC portfolios across Canada. John joined the Bank of Montreal’s Investor Services Group in 1996. As a Trading Supervisor, he was responsible for trading equities, fixed income and derivatives for wealthy investors and institutions. John has extensive experience in portfolio construction and risk management, as well as an in-depth knowledge of the financial markets.
