With 20 years of experience in both equity and fixed income wealth management, Hamza is committed to leveraging his experience and the expertise of his team in delivering an exceptional wealth management experience to his clients. Hamza works exclusively with ultra-high net worth and high net worth individuals and families, coordinating all aspects of their wealth management needs, with a focus on managing individual, trusts, foundations and corporate investment portfolios. Prior to taking on the Investment Counselling role, Hamza spent two and a half years as the Regional Director, Investments for the GTA with BMO Private Investment Counsel. Previous to that, he spent over 5 years with the BMO Nesbitt Burns’ Portfolio Services Group as Fixed Income Portfolio Manager where he was directly responsible for managing fixed income portfolios for Institutions, Endowments, Foundations, Trust and Ultra High Net Worth Individuals. Hamza has extensive experience in asset allocation and portfolio management. He spent many years providing oversight and due diligence of investments for BMO Nesbitt Burns Managed Asset Programs, separately managed accounts, mutual fund wrap programs and the BMO Nesbitt Burns mutual fund family. More recently Hamza was a member of the BMO Private Investment Counsel Investment Policy Committee and the BMO Nesbitt Burns Pension Committee. He is currently a member of the Toronto CFA Society and the CFA Institute. Hamza is a CFA charterholder and has an Honours Bachelor of Administration degree from University of Toronto. In his spare time Hamza volunteers with his son’s minor hockey team. As philanthropy is very important to the family, Hamza is a member of the Mackenzie Health Foundation Emerging Leaders Council as well as a director in managing the family’s foundation established in 2019.Get directions
