    My Background

Peter Pelegris has been with BMO Nesbitt Burns for 32 years, and is the founding member of our team. He is a graduate of the University of Toronto with a degree in Actuarial Science and Economics. He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), a Canadian Investment Manager (CIM). The mathematics behind risk management is what Peter brings to the table to your benefit: Risk of losing money, risk of outliving your money, risk of being too risky or too conservative, etc. The management of risk is the single biggest variable to ensuring you are cared for during retirement.

Outside of work, Peter enjoys travelling and fishing. Peter also actively involves himself with several charities. The one that is most dear to him is his dedication of a couple of weeks during the summer for fundraising charities that support orphanages around the world. Through his charity work, Peter is beginning to understand the true meaning of "it is better to give than to receive".
