My Background

Ian joined BMO Nesbitt Burns in 2010. Driven by a desire to help people meet their life goals and objectives, Ian founded The Howey Group. Ian brings to his clients a diverse background in the financial services industry which he commenced as a summer intern in 1989. He began working with BMO Bank of Montreal in 1997 and took a departure from his established background to pursue an active and fulfilling career in the Arts for seven years, returning to the financial sector in 2008. Ian possesses a drive for excellence in his pursuits and is anchored by a conviction to serve the needs of the people around him. Ian is from Grey County, Ontario and resides in Fredericton with his wife Susan, son Jonathan and daughter Kate. As a family, they enjoy the outdoors, volunteering, and time on the century owned family farm.
