My Background

Otis is a proud member of the Tahltan Band and is passionate about helping every indigenous client harness their individual strengths and wisdom. He shares his experience and expertise with clients to help them navigate new challenges and achieve their goals. Otis contributes to his community by sitting on the boards of numerous local non-profit organizations and charities Living, working and raising a family in BC has given Otis a love of the outdoors and of exploring the natural world. Otis loves adventure travelling which includes the West Coast Trail, mountain biking, Scuba Diving and multi-day canoe trips. Otis and his family love to attend the theatre and walk the family dog around South Surrey and White Rock.
Otis has been licenced as an investment professional since 1993 and has helped thousands of personal and commercial clients to articulate and achieve their financial goals. Since joining BMO in 2007 Otis has worked with BMO Trust and Private Wealth to provide customized solutions to the most complex client situations and challenges. Otis works collaboratively with Personal and Commercial Banking to ensure that all client needs are identified and met and that the right experts are brought to the table to help his clients. Otis holds the CFP designation and brings a disciplined planning approach to every client relationship. What sets him apart To gain a deep understanding of his client’s needs and goals, Otis asks thougthful questions and works with his clients to develop comprehensive and flexable plans. Otis believes that a deep understanding of his client needs is paramount to meeting those needs. Having spent more than 25 years providing financial advice and direction to clients, Otis has a wealth of hands on experience and knowledge which he draws on to help his clients. Communication and collaboration are the focus as Otis helps to ensure that decisions made today are the right ones, for today and for many generations to come.
