Graduated with an Honours degree in Economics and Psychology from Middlesex University London, England, Wilkie has been working in the financial industry in Canada since 1988. After working for a major Canadian bank in various capacities in personal and investment banking, Wilkie became an Investment Advisor in 1992 and has since worked for two major bank owned investment firms before joining BMO Nesbitt Burns in 2011. With years of investment industry experience through various capital market cycles, he oversees asset allocation and macro investment strategy planning for his team. His focus on conservative wealth protection and wealth management strategies, including life and disability insurance solutions for high net worth clients has brought him tremendous success as an investment advisor. Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English, Wilkie has been a weekly financial commentator for AM1470 since 1996 and his audience have come to recognize his voice as a trusted source for market updates.
