Michael Bonn

My Background

Michael first started working in the financial services industry in 1994. He currently has expertise in investment, financial planning, business succession planning, estate planning and insurance strategies . Over his career, he has worked working in areas that include capital markets/trading, private equity and hedge funds. Prior to joining BMO, Michael helped mange more than $2.3 billion in assets. As an Investment Counsellor, Michael is responsible for portfolio management and private client relationships. He works with a range of clients from CEOs and executives, to business owners, professionals and families who desire tax-efficient and stable income. Michael is a Chartered Financial Analyst and has both a Bachelor and Master degree in Economics from the University of Waterloo. Michael is registered and licensed with the securities commission in his capacity as a portfolio manager in BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario, the USA as well as non-residents to Canada. Michael is a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Vancouver.
