My Background

Maya is currently responsible for providing investment counselling to high net worth clients in the Prairies Region. She helps clients to preserve and grow their wealth by delivering solutions aligned to their individual needs. Her investment philosophy is to generate returns over the long term, while minimizing and controlling risk through strategic use of asset classes and prudent diversification. Maya has over twenty years of investment experience having started her financial services career at BMO Nesbitt Burns in 1995. She has been an Investment Counsellor at BMO Private Investment Counsel Inc. for the past 8 years where she does discretionary investment management for clients.
